Celebrate the completion of EAF25 with closing events across the city.
EAF’s Closing Weekend ends the festival the same way it began: with a packed weekend of memorable, challenging live events. From book launches to performances and parties, the Closing Weekend provides space to engage deeply with new ideas as well as bask in the excitement of new experiences. At the core of EAF’s final weekend is the Festival’s electric closing performance, which reenacts the building of a human body, piece by piece, against the stark industrial backdrop of the Port of Leith.
Slowing down, EAF’s final week also invites visitors to gather for a series of performances and workshops set in the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, exploring our relationships to the environment and to one another, with both mindfulness and urgency. On our final day, EAF invites visitors and friends alike to gather at the Pavilion, to close out the Festival with a soft space for open conversation, food, and artistic offerings that imagine art as a bridge from the wisdom of the past into the action of the future.
