Three ARTIST ROOMS presentations form part of a series of new free displays, showcasing magnificent and diverse works of 20th and 21st century art belonging to the people of Scotland. Audiences can discover the bold self-portraits of Robert Mapplethorpe, immerse themselves in Louise Bourgeois’ evocative artworks, and be captivated by the innovative work of Helen Chadwick. This is an opportunity to see compelling art from ARTIST ROOMS, the national touring collection cared for jointly by the National Galleries of Scotland and Tate.
The ARTIST ROOMS programme and collection is managed by Tate and National Galleries of Scotland with the support of Art Fund, Henry Moore Foundation and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and Creative Scotland.
