Join Trudi Collier on a tour of Más Arte Más Acción’s artistic public intervention in the form of a large table around a tree, to encourage dialogue about the interconnections between humans and plants in times of rapid biodiversity loss. 

Participants will be led on a BSL tour of the Around A Tree installation, and learn more about the project, before joining a conversation reflecting on the themes of climate crisis and connections between people and nature. Finally, participants will join the ongoing Closing Ritual led by Brigitte Baptiste, which will be BSL interpreted.

Along with Colombian environmentalist Brigitte Baptiste, Más Arte Más Acción invite audiences to gather for a closing ritual, connecting to the environment and one another, and lending their voices to the marathon of voices soundscape, which will be shared at UN’s Biodiversity COP16 in Colombia in October, and the UN’s Climate COP30 in Brazil.

Care considerations: The work will speak openly about the Climate Emergency, and intersecting global crises. The event will take place outdoors on a grassy area, with limited stools for seating.
