EAF Civic Programme have an ongoing connected partnership with SCORE Scotland, working together with Women’s Group and young peoples programme to address the causes & effects of racism and promote race equality through creative expression. This collaborative work strives to break down barriers to the full participation of minority ethnic communities in all aspects of civic life.
Our yearly activity includes free group and individual creative exercises to affirm creativity, develop confidence & share skills through facilitated group work.

2024: Hello: I am an artist
‘Hello, I am an Artist’ is a series of interactive and collaborative creative workshops designed to affirm and celebrate the unique expressions of creativity through individual and group working. In this ongoing partnership with the SCORE Women’s group, facilitated by artist and poet Jj Fadaka and the EAF Civic Programme, we engage in both group and individual creative exercises that nurture our collective creativity. Together, we explore and share the kinds of spaces that inspire us, building an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered. These sessions are an opportunity to express our identities, celebrate the diverse ways we create, and embrace the power of artistic representation.
