We currently have two live opportunities.
Chair of the Board of Trustees
Following the recent appointment of Robert Wilson to the role of Chair of Creative Scotland, the Board of Trustees is now seeking a new Chair to lead the continued development of Edinburgh Art Festival.
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to lead the Board and work effectively with the Festival Director, Sorcha Carey, and a small core team. You will have a passion for visual arts and festivals, considerable relevant experience gained in a senior position, and an ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of different stakeholders.
The Chair will help steer the strategic direction of the organisation, overseeing its effective governance, ensuring financial accountability and supporting the delivery of an annual world class Festival. The successful candidate will be passionate about the visual arts, have a good understanding of the sector, and a deep commitment to reaching the widest possible audience for our artform. You will be a highly effective influencer and communicator, able to represent Edinburgh Art Festival in public and in the media.
Applications are invited from anyone who has an interest in continued public service and is committed to supporting the continued development of Edinburgh Art Festival. We encourage applications from suitably experienced candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy or maternity.
