PROGRAMME ASSISTANT – FRONT OF HOUSE (EAF26)
Contract: Fixed Term (10—30 August)
Hours: Part-Time and Full-Time posts available, minimum contract 12hrs per week.
Rate of pay: £13.45 per hour
Start date: 10 August 2026
Reports to: Festival Coordinator and Festival Manager
We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly and engaged individuals to join our team and provide an outstanding visitor experience. Programme Assistants will play a key role in the festival, being the first point of contact for visitors to our programme, whilst playing an important role in ensuring the security of artworks, and the safety of visitors and staff. In 2026 Programme Assistants will be based across a range of sites and venues relating to: our Commissions Programme; the EAF welcome space and wider events programme.

PRODUCTION AND EVENTS ASSISTANT (EAF26)
Contract: Fixed Term (1 June – 4 September 2026)
Hours: 7.5-hour days, 2 days per week (one day ideally Tuesday). This will increase to 3 days per week during festival delivery in August, including weekends.
Rate of pay: £14.70 per hour
Start date: 1 June 2026
Reports to: Director and Programme Team
The Production and Events Assistant will work closely with the programme team to support the administration, planning, and delivery of EAF26’s exhibitions and events. This is a hands-on role offering practical experience in large-scale festival production. The postholder will shadow the curator and lead technician, gaining insight into artistic decision-making, technical planning, and event delivery, while contributing to the smooth running of exhibitions and public events.

FESTIVAL CO-ORDINATOR – FRONT OF HOUSE (EAF26)
Contract: Fixed Term (27 July – 4 September 2026)
Hours: Full Time, 37.5hrs per week. During the festival this will include weekend and some evening working to support event delivery
Rate of pay: £14.70 per hour
Start date: 27 July 2026
Reports to: Festival Manager
The Festival Co-ordinator is responsible for line managing a team of 15-20 Programme Assistants, working closely with the Festival Manager and wider EAF team to oversee the staffing and management of the 2026 commission venues and welcome space; and assist with the delivery of events across the programme.
