PAST EVENT: This was part of the EAF25 programme.
What can we share and learn from each other in times of crisis?
For EAF25, the Community Wellbeing Collective (CWC) invited people to gather at the Community Wellbeing Space to make a meal and discuss ways in which communities and individuals create possibilities in times of crisis. This event marked the beginning of a socially engaged collaboration between curator Nour Osseiran from TAP (Temporary Art Platform) in Lebanon and CWC members, with a particular focus on ongoing socio-political and economic challenges in Beirut and Edinburgh.
The Community Wellbeing Collective is a growing group of people from, and connected to, Wester Hailes – practising collective wellbeing, mutual care, responsibility, vulnerability, and solidarity. The CWC runs a Community Wellbeing Space by and for the people, which is a space for respite from an unjust world in which to hold public imagination and create action towards a more just world.
