Hall of Hours is a celebration of time via Robert Powell’s distinctive imagery. Inspired by medieval Books of Hours — in which the day was sliced into different epochs of reflection and activity — this multimedia exhibition invites audiences to think about the passage of time, how we organise time, and how we structure knowledge to proof it against time. Expanding on a twenty-four hour animation commissioned by New Media Scotland, Powell examines how humans relate to time through print and animation.
