Fungi Sessions

Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh exhibition

2nd August 25 - 11th January 26

Immerse yourself in a mesmerising fusion of art and science. Fungi Sessions marks the premiere of Hannah Read’s albums The Fungi Sessions Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 as an audiovisual installation. The Edinburgh-born musician and composer gives voice to fungi through songs dedicated to her late father, Nick Read, a pioneering fungal cell biologist. This unique collaboration with mycologist Dr Patrick Hickey illuminates each track through a suite of microscopic time-lapse videos.
