Please join us for an afternoon to celebrate visually impaired creatives involved in the Edinburgh Art Festival’s DIY Art Kits and the Fruitmarket See With Me programme. You can take part in free taster workshops and explore the DIY Art – Home Creativity Kit, designed for adults with visual impairments. The taster workshops will include contributions from Kasia Jakimscuk, Anne Dignan, Alan McIntyre, Alex Maxtone-Graham and Steve Oliver.

DIY Art Home Creativity Kit is an activity pack specifically designed by the artist Louise Fraser and shaped in consultation with visually impaired participants for the Edinburgh Art Festival.

See With Me is the Fruitmarket’s monthly engagement project which is co-produced with people who are blind or partially sighted. See With Me includes detailed descriptive group tours of Fruitmarket Exhibitions for visually impaired people and monthly practical co-creation sessions led by Kirin Saeed a visually impaired artist and Louise Fraser a sighted neurodivergent artist.

Please allow three hours for this event. We will meet the participants in the Fruitmarket Bookshop at 1pm.
