Dear Library: In-Conversation

National Library of Scotland event

14th August 25

PAST EVENT: This was part of the EAF25 programme.

As part of the new permanent installation of Give light and people will find the way (Ella Baker) by Rabiya Choudhry, audiences joined the artist and collaborators for a panel on the vital importance of libraries.

Coinciding with National Library of Scotland’s exhibition love letter to libraries, Dear Library, the event saw Rabiya Choudhry, joined by Chloe Reith (The Common Guild), Martha Burns (National Library of Scotland), and Eleanor Edmondson (Edinburgh Art Festival) to reflect on the role of libraries as spaces of care, culture, resistance, and imagination.
