PAST EVENT: This was part of the 2023 programme

On Saturday 19 August 2023, we joined Fruitmarket Gallery to celebrate the visually impaired creatives involved in Edinburgh Art Festival’s DIY Art – Home Creativity Kits and the Fruitmarket Gallery’s See with Me programme. This included a taster of activities by the creatives and exploration of the latest DIY Art Kit which has been devised by artist Louise K Fraser in consultation with Kasia Jakimczuk, Anne Dignan, Alan McIntrye and Steve Oliver.

The free event was held at the Studio inside Fruitmarket Gallery from 1pm to 4pm. Participants were welcome to either attend the whole day or drop-in.

The event was for visually impaired and fully sighted people.
