EAF x Art Monthly Writer’s Award — Open Call

EAF is collaborating with Art Monthly magazine to support a writer to attend the festival and write in response to the EAF24 Programme. Through the Award, we aim to uplift writers who are from backgrounds currently underrepresented in cultural journalism.

The selected writer will receive a fee of £200 and be supported to attend the EAF24 Press Tour (8—10 August) and write a piece responding to whichever area of our programme interests them most. This piece will be published with Art Monthly, in print and online, with editorial support from Art Monthly editor Chris McCormack.

The EAF x Art Monthly Writer’s Award selectors panel will be curator and LUX Scotland co-founder Mason Leaver-Yap, poet and author K Patrick, EAF Director Kim McAleese, and Art Monthly editor Chris McCormack.
