As part of Blackie House and Museum’s EAF25 exhibition RING OF TRUTH, audiences were invited to celebrate the launch of the vinyl album, Sun God Fraud Squad.
Hosted at the Blackie House Garagespace near the Meadows, the event provided a unique opportunity to meet the artists, musicians, and writers involved with this project. The new album was played in full, alongside works by visual artists Eddie Summerton and Alan Grieve, with a DJ set by Volens Chorus to conclude the gathering.
Exploring the concept of interplanetary harmony, the exhibition RING OF TRUTH brought together visual artists, musicians, and writers in response to the enigmatic Music of the Spheres manuscripts, a set of six illustrated leaves believed to be Coptic compositions from 5th—6th century Egypt.
